Who Are We?

DeerVale Publishing(TM) is a book publisher created by an author to help new authors get their books into the marketplace.

    Author John R. Spencer found that many writers aren’t comfortable taking on the enormous work required for self-publishing. So he fashioned DeerVale to help authors get their book out and into distribution.

    Faced with subsidy presses charging thousands of dollars, some authors just give up. As an alternative, John created a one-stop process for new authors that includes everything from finding editors and proofreaders, book design and layout, copyrighting help, production, and distribution.

    DeerVale does not publish everything submitted to us. We look for quality books that we can support. Marketing remains the responsibility of each author, but we work to provide wide distribution of your book to help sales.
